Development branch for a feature-rich Nextcloud Talk Android Auto experience.

Planned scope:

  • Android Auto MessagingStyle notifications with voice reply and mark-as-read
  • Templated conversation/contact browsing
  • Voice-initiated and contact-selected messages
  • Outgoing and incoming Talk voice calls
  • Jetpack Core-Telecom integration for Android Auto remote call surfaces
  • Call answer/decline/hang-up/mute/audio-route controls
  • Group-call metadata where available

The master branch remains a clean upstream-tracking branch; all Android Auto work lands on android-auto first.

Normal debug builds retain com.nextcloud.talk2. Passing -PandroidAutoSideBySide=true produces com.nextcloud.talk2.auto with an -auto version suffix.

Validated with normal GPlay + generic compilation, side-by-side GPlay APK assembly, exact application ID metadata, and ktlint.
